Lis “Left Eye” Lopes was one of the founding members of the 90’s rap group TLC, and was one of the creative forces behind the group. Along with rapping and singing, Left Eye also designed the outoiys and staging, and also contributed to the group’s image. She was one of the icons of the 90’s and was an inspiration and role model for many youth during the era. Left Eye died in a car accident in Honduras in 2002 and her loss is felt to this day.
