Ricky Henderson Rookie MLB Retro Lightning Men's Cotton Crew Tee. Ricky Henderson aka "The Man of Steal", was drafted in the 4th round by the Oakland Athletics in the 1976 MLB draft. The hometown kid cracked the starting lineup and made his debut for the A's in 1979 and broke the AL record for steals in a season with 100 steals. After a brief stint with the New York Yankees, he was back in Oakland and won the 1989 World Series and the 1990 AL MVP award.
