The 1993 Finals: Jordan and the Bulls ran into the ‘93 League MVP in Charles Barkley and his Western Conference champions the Suns. Led by Barkley and Kevin Johnson, the Suns were the stiffest competition Jordan faced in the finals to that point. Barkley went off for 42 pts in Game 2 but Jordan was too much, scoring 31, 42, 44, 55, 41 and 33 in game 6. Phoenix was on the verge of forcing a game 7 but a clutch three pointer by John Paxson in game 6 sealed the deal and the Bulls held on for a 99-98 win and the first of their three-peat.
